Natural Nut Nougat

This is a softer, creamier nougat than the traditional shop bought ones. It is completely raw and natural, which I think contributes to its honest charm.

Perfect to offer guests after a meal when only a mere morsel of sweetness can be squeezed in.

They’re also great as token presents when visiting friends and family during the festive season.

Ingredients

• 12 brazil nuts, roughly chopped

• 20 macadamias, roughly chopped

• 20 almonds, roughly chopped

• 20 hazelnuts, roughly chopped

• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

• 3 tablespoons organic golden rice malt syrup

• 1/2 cup almond butter

• 1 tablespoon hazelnut meal
